For those Masons who are familiar with the written works of Brother G.W. Gann, a stock market analyst who based his financial success on the ancient mysteries (geometry, astronomy, astrology, ancient mathematics and Biblical cycles), you may also be interested in the fact we are approaching the year of the Shemitah (Shmita). The year of the Shemitah (Shmita) is defined as “The sabbath year (shmita Hebrew: שמיטה‎, literally “release”) also called the sabbatical year or sheviit (Hebrew: שביעית‎, literally “seventh”) is the seventh year of the seven-year agricultural cycle mandated by the Torah for the Land of Israel,[1] and still observed in contemporary Judaism.”

As a Mason, Gann studied the importance of seven year cycles (Shmita). The next Shemitah (Shmita) year starts on September 25, 2014 and concludes on September 13, 2015. Here is a video from Rabbi Jonathan Cahn that explains why we need to be prepared.
